Late Night Library
We will be having Late Night Library on Thursday evenings again this year. The hours are from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. We will be working with the computers and parents are able to check out books from our library. Parents, I hope you will come by and look as we do have some books that will be interesting for you to read as well. I look forward to meeting some of you there.
Community Use
The library is available for community use. Please come and utilize the computers, read the newspaper, or read a book or magazine. We will have tables outside the door of the library where you are welcome to come and drink your coffee and read the paper. Our library is your community library as well. We want to have you come and join us!
We also have a collection of books about Texas plants, flowers, trees, insects, birds, mammals, reptiles, and snakes. These are written for adults though children can easily use them. Additionally we have a lovely collection of history books and other reference materials that will be of interest to adults.
Finally, we have an interesting collection of photograph and memory books that have been created over the years. Come take a walk through the past. You might see pictures of yourself or someone that you know. Unfortunately, we will not let you destroy any pictures - even if you do think you looked dorky back then. Giggling is allowed - only please don't tell anyone that you laughed at their picture. ;)
