| Ridgecrest Elementary's Library Media Center, one of the
largest elementary libraries in the district, has over 24,000 books and 20
periodical titles. The LMC is open daily, Monday through Friday, from
7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All students in the school visit the LMC at
least once weekly. The Ridgecrest LMC has an open-door policy and
students are free to visit the LMC at other times with their teacher's
permission. The LMC circulates 40-50,000 items annually, serving a population of approximately 1,000 students. |
