Labels for Education

The Rummel Creek Library sponsors the Labels for education program.  We collect labels from Campbell Soup, Tyson Chicken and General Mills.  With the collected labels and the money generated  from the labels, we purchase Health Fitness equipment, add books and materials to the Library and work with the PTA to provide for the needs of our students.
To encourage student participation, we run classroom contests throughout the year.  Read the Library Link to find out exact dates for contests.

List of products

Please send labels trimmed in an envelope with your child's homeroom teacher's name on the front.  If you are sending a lot of labels, if they could be bundled in groups of 50, that would help our program tremendously.
Tyson Products Please trim labels and send a count of how many Tyson labels your  have sent in your bundle.
General Mills Products Please trim labels and bundle in groups of 50 if you have enough.  Be sure to put teacher's name on the outside of the envelope or zip lock bag.
Thank you for your support of the Labels for Education program, we made more than 600.00 dollars in cash for the PTA in 2002.  We also purchased two folding goals and other health fitness equipment for our new gym with the Campbell Soup projects.

Please look in the coupon circular for additional special promotions.  Ask your extended family to help you collect labels.  It is a great way to add things to our campus.

Send any labels to the library labeled with your teacher's name on the outside of the envelope.  Thanks!!!
