The Rummel Creek Library maintains an open
philosophy...students may come to the library anytime during the school
day on passes from their classrooms. The library is open before
school and some afternoons or evenings during the year. Read the
Library Link, a monthly newletter from the Library, for dates of extended
hours. |
 |
Students may check out books, magazines, encyclopedias and
reference books. Students may check out as many materials as needed,
however we may limit certain subjects at times. |
 |
The standard check out time is for one week, however we do
not have fines and overdues are sent home on an as needed basis. Books may
be renewed as long as necessary for the student. |
 |
Parents and community members may use the Rummel Creek
Library during school hours. Computers are available for patron use
unless students are using them. |
 |
Instruction for on-line services for students, parents and
community members is available through classes and on as-needed
basis. For extensive help, please call and make arrangements in
advance. |
 |
Students have access to games and other materials during the
day as needed. These materials may be used in the library or
classrooms. |
 |
The library manages a calendar for library facilities
including the Kiva and Science Lab. Parents and teachers may sign up
to use any area in the library by signing up in the Library Facilities
Calendar. This calendar is located at the Circulation Desk. |
 |
A manual check out system is available at the Circulation
Desk in the event that the computer is not manned. Please sign out
any materials that are removed from the RCE Library. |
 |
To request services from the Rummel Creek Library, please
