Dewey Decimal System       

   Our library uses the Dewey Decimal System to organize materials. The number and letter combinations on the spine labels are from the Dewey Decimal System. All libraries use either this system or the Library of Congress system. All of the Spring Branch schools at all levels and the Houston Public Library System organize their collections with the Dewey Decimal System. Learning the basics will help you now and in the future.
