has a library card with a barcode. Each student checks in and out books
by scanning that barcode and the barcode on the library book. |

| OVERDUE and LOST BOOKS: If a book is not renewed or turned
in, it becomes overdue. Overdue books are not available to other
students! Students must pay for lost library books. |

Library History--

The Sherwood main building is
round. The library has historically been in the center and always
heart of the school. In the 2002-2003 construction at Sherwood, the
library moved to the very front of the building. Libraries are so
important that we want everyone who comes into our building to see our
library! Students may be doing research or checking books in and out
on the day that you visit. They attend storytime, read, search for
information online or in print materials. Sherwood students love to read! |
