Many SBISD Librarians will be traveling to San Antonio during the week of March 15-20, 2004, to attend the annual Texas Library Association Conference where they will have dozens of programs on librarianship, reading motivation, research strategies, and technology integration and hundreds of vendors from which to choose in their quest for new skills and information. It is the second largest library conference in the United States.  Two members of the department  will be making presentations at the conference. Dr. Barry Bishop, Administrator for Library Information Services, will conduct a session on school library advocacy.
