8:30 AM - 9:00 AM = Introductions and welcome back (share vacations) (Barry)

Terrace Elementary = Arlene Reynolds from Westwood Elementary

 

S9:00 AM - 9:20 AM = State of the District (Barry)

District is stable

Duncan wants technology used (Administrators workshop slides)

Jennifer wants technology used (options for student products)

Librarians are the designated ones by Jennifer (and C&I Directors) and Duncan as the support for teachers and students in their technology usage!

9:20 AM - 9:40 AM =  SBISD Filtering (Barry)

10:00 AM - 10:10 AM = Monthly Meetings (Barry)

Monthly meetings:

1 person to volunteer to talk about books =10 minutes

4 Librarians will show their Library/classroom 2.0 activities (about 5 minutes each)

Continue to meet in grade level groups

30 minutes for Sheri/Angela (what part of the meeting)

Invite:

   Venu Rao, Diane Fanning, Lynette Breedlove, Vivian Pratt, Deb Darmer

   how our program fits in supporting their program

 

10:10 AM - 10:30 AM = What do we want to Learn from the Ed Tech. Dept. (Barry)

10:30 AM - 11:00 AM = Laptops for new teachers (Liz)

Show video that will be loaded to the Librarians share server

 

11:10 PM - 11:45 PM = Divide into 4 groups and discuss plans for up-coming year

HS, MS, East Ele., and West Ele.

 

11:45 AM - 12:45 PM = LUNCH (on your own) (restaurants)

 

Superintendent Klussmann visit for 30 minutes to welcome us, encourage us, challenge us, and answer any questions we may have.

 

12:45 PM - 1:20 PM = Online Catalog 2.0 (Liz)
