In the area of Curriculum, the School Librarian: Self Check boxes
1 has thorough knowledge of subject & grade level curriculum.  
2 supports the curriculum.  
3 serves on committees to develop curriculum that meet the needs & abilities of all students.  
4 develops & promotes specific plans for integrating information literacy standards for student learning in the curriculum.  
5 assists in the development of the curriculum at both the campus and district levels.  
In the area of Instruction, the School Librarian: Self Check boxes
5 provides and encourages opportunities for collaborative planning and cooperative teaching, with teachers.  
6 collaborates with teachers to plan, conduct, and evaluate learning activities that incorporate information literacy.  
7 provides and encourages direct instruction as determined by learners' needs and state curriculum standards.  
8 plans and promotes a shared campus vision that focuses on higher student achievement through reading, teaching, and learning.  
9 provides leadership in analyzing learning needs and identifying instructional strategies & resources to meet those needs.  
10 provides relevant, meaningful instruction with multiple resources.  
11 provides education, training, and guidance to students and staff on search strategies, evaluation techniques, and use of information technology resources so that patrons become discriminating users of information.
