Materials: Map, crayons
Procedure/Instruction:
Give students a blank floor plan of your library. As a group, have them locate
the easy fiction, nonfiction sections, and the circulation desk.
Color these areas.
Closure/Evaluation: Using
a completed floor plan, discuss the different sections of your
library. This will lead to discussion of district and school
policies regarding check out and care of books.
