When you need to replace a barcode because it has been damaged, lost, or taken off due to re-binding you will use the procedure below, this just changes the barcode so you don't have to re-add the material.

1. Go to LM320 and type in the barcode # that needs to be replaced click on the "Replace" button on the right side of the screen. This will give you a new box to scan the correct barcode into, once the new barcode is scanned in you can click on the "Go" button and the process is complete.

2. Please remember that changing a barcode number is NOT instantaneous! The process will run as a submitted job, so if I am loading MARC records then it may take up to 45 minutes before your change takes place. If you want to check to see if the job is finished you can either click on the "hammer" icon at the top left side of the screen to see your submitted jobs, or try scanning the new barcode in LM320 to see if the change is complete.
