1:00 PM - 1:50 PM = Someone from Curriculum and Instruction (perhaps Dr. Velma Villegas, the new Assistant Superintendent for School Improvement and Support) will demonstrate and give an overview to the new district wide Process of Designing and Delivering Instruction (DDI).

2:00 PM - 2:50 PM = Someone from Instructional Technology will demonstrate the laptop computers and participate in a discussion as to how we might use them.

3:00 PM - 3:50 PM = Someone from the Library community will lead the discussion of these items:

Details and finalize assignments for the Storytelling Festival, May 1st.

Talk about adding Resources to Edmin. (demo)

Talk about ordering 1/4 of your stuff for next year by the time you go off duty.

Inventory (wireless laptop and J Walk).

Discuss Copyright law and videos (performance licenses).

Discuss the accessibility and accountability of department materials in the Library.

How much cataloging left, don't send stuff with CIP on verso, don't send very old materials, volunteer cataloging camp, African American subject heading, etc...

Talk about Staff Development opportunities in the summer.

Ask who needs staff development on April Flex Day.

Talk about when to have the Book Exhibit next school year.

Monthly Reports review.

Don't forget our next all level librarians' meeting will be Monday, May 3, 2004 at Spring Branch Elementary Library
