Report and integrate information from Scholastic Classroom Libraries Workshop Vaughn attended 1/27

Literacy Histories - have each Librarian describe on one preformatted page their individual Literary History (how they learned to read and learned to love to read). Then anonymously trade them and share some. Collect and analyze fro common characteristics.

Personality traits as explained by certain books. Book talk the selected books, then have Librarians divide themselves up by the characters in the books to which they identify. Then do something with this knowledge--maybe share how the strengths of one character may help us overcome the weaknesses of another character.

BREAK

The SBISD Report Format = Liz will explain

Divide into grade level groups to look at Report format. (handout the one page report format with non-negotiables and suggestions). Make suggestions. Discuss process. Look forward to benefits.

Liz = 10 minutes for pages to support circulation reports and books purchased

BREAK

Break up into small groups to share stuff, specifically what new ideas have you had over the last two weeks and what things can you collaborate on to share resources.
